Special Abilities:
    Double Attacks:  Because the Battle Hydra has two
    heads, it gets two attacks per round at no penalty.  A third
    attack causes -1D to all actions, a fourth -2D, etc.
    Senses:  Because of its habit of looking in two directions
    at once, the Battle Hydra gets +2D to its Perception roll
    when applicable.
    Claws:  STR+2D damage
    Jaws:  Each head does STR+1D damage when attacking
    Tail Stinger:  Hooked tail delivers a strong and lethal
    poison.  Character stung by Battle Hydra will take 3D
    damage per turn until dead.  There is no known natural
    antidote, though some Jedi can neutralize it with Detoxify
    Poison and Detoxify Another's Poison skills.
    Planet of Origin:  Yavin IV.  However, a Battle Hydra is
    a rare sight on Yavin IV. They live deep in mountain caves.
    A Battle Hydra will not attack a person unless cornered or
    spurred on by a Sith lord.

    from the effects of the creatures potent neurotoxin.
    Affected characters must make a Difficult Stamina or
    Strength roll or be rendered immobile. The poison is
    effective for 1D minutes.

    turn.  I don't even know what that means.  Somebody
    tell me.  I wanna know.
    Teeth:  STR+2D+2 damage
    Planet of Origin:  Calamari.  The Krakana eats anything it
    can find.  It has a long bullet-shaped body, spined fins,
    and a mouth filled with fangs.  Tentacles on either side of its
    mouth seize and rend prey, each tipped with razor jawed
    pincers. Seldom rises to a depth where the sun penetrates.

    Lava Attack:  The lava dragon can suck lava down its
    armored throat and spew it back out at characters at 10D
    damage (character scale).
    Silicon Armor Plating: STR+4D against physical attacks,
    and STR+8D against energy attacks. However, if the
    creature is wounded, it starts suffering damage from the
    lava (which does 5D damage pre round.  Lava damage is
    considered speeder scale.)
    Planet of Origin:  Eol Sha.  The lava dragon uses air
    bladders deep in its body to keep bouyancy. It never sinks
    so low that it can not raise its head to the surface. It feeds
    on lesser reptiles who live in the lava.

    Swarm:  When in their madness state*, Piranha Beetles
    attack as a swarm for 3D+2 damage.  They can attack
    multiple targets and cannot be blocked. Only by eluding or
    gassing the insects can anyone hope to survive an attack.
    Planet of Origin:  Yavin IV.  They travel in small groups,
    rarely attacking large animals such as humans. The
    exception is when the swarm grows too big to sustain itself.
    When this happens the beetles go mad*, attacking one
    another and everything else in sight, from trees and stones
    to any living thing nearby. Only when the swarm is nearly
    destroyed does the madness pass.

    opposed Strength roll to break free.
    Planet of Origin:  Kessel.  Main food is a Bogey. Catches
    them by spinning glitterstim webs.

    Appetite:  The torbull must be fed and watered at least
    four times a day.  A minimum of 20 liters of water and 10
    kilograms of grain (or similar food sources) are required to
    sustain the Torbull.  Constant grazing is usually effective,
    though when operating in desert conditions ample food
    must be carried. The Orneriness of a torbull that has
    missed a feeding increases by 3D. A torbull that misses
    more than two consecutive feedings dies of hunger.
    Tame:  The Torbull does not have an aggressive nature;
    when ridden, the rider receives a +1D bonus to Beast

    main mass.
    Planet of Origin:  Umgul.  Umgullan blobs do not fare
    well on other worlds, since they derive certain nutrients
    from the fogs of Umgul.

    Howling:  Wampa howls are a rudimentary form of
    communication that allows Wampas to coordinate attacks.
    These howls are virtually indistinguishable from the sound
    of Hoth's winds.
