SPIES ON AN IMPERIAL PLANET
Imperial Logo
While on vacation with my friend, Linden sai' Morroc, a Devaronian Young Jedi (played by MikeLinden sai'Morroc DeVuyst), I wound up on Karnth, a planet composed solely of volcanoes, craters, and one single large city. That afternoon, my companion and I decided to step into a cantina and catch a show. Little did we know the journey that awaited us.
We stepped inside and listened to the band while having a drink (Morroc paid. He's a nice guy). A Genfight broke out near me and I stepped aside, trying not to get involved. Morroc stepped into the corner, and as the fight progressed, I chugged my drink and stepped outside, watching through the window. We each noticed that a man clad in a brown robe at a table in the corner calmly looked up. That's when one of the men backed away from the fight and stood stiff, then fell to the ground. The man in the corner looked back down.
Morroc slowly walked over to the man in brown and started talking to him, so I decided to enter the cantina once again. By the time I sat down, the conversation was nearly over. Morroc had discovered the man was a Jedi and caused the fight's end. Not much else was said, so Morroc and I left.
As we walked down the street, we saw a man running toward us. We both recognized him right away. It was Bihl, a fellow pilot of mine and close friend of Morroc and me. He was being chased...by two storm troopers. He fell to the ground and Morroc and I picked him up to carry him to safety.
We ran down alleys, eventually getting stuck at a dead end, when a familiar voice called us into a building. The man from the cantina guided us into what could have been his home. We lay Bihl down on the couch and examined him. He was in pretty rough shape. Bihl simply handed Morroc a Centurion Ospreymessage canister and told him to take it to Yavin IV. Moments later, Bihl fell unconscious and died.
The man in brown told us his name was Gen and said he could help us, but not much. He gave us blankets to wrap Bihl in so we could take him to my YT-1300, named the Centurion Osprey, and get him back to Yavin IV for a proper burial. I tinkered with the message canister, but the security was too tight. We climbed into a landspeeder and headed for the docking bay.
LarsaAfter reaching the docking bay and almost getting to the ship, six storm troopers, with a young woman in a black robe leading them, entered the hall and opened fire on us. I started the ship while Morroc and Gen fended off the storm troopers down the hall. With all the troopers down, the woman proceeded toward us. The ship was running and ready for takeoff. I came out to help carry Bihl and Gen handed Morroc a lightsabre and told us to get out of here. As we boarded the ship, we heard the woman ignite a lightsabre and Gen fire a few shots. She deflected them, but the outcome was to be unknown. We flew out of the docking bay only to be met by two TIE fighters. Once we hurried out of the atmosphere, I kicked into hyperspace and we were off to Yavin IV.

(End of Game Play One)

Upon arrival at Yavin IV,we reported Bihl's death and they took care of his funeral. Morroc and I met up with General Falloc to discuss the information in the message canister. It said something about Byss and Dark Jedi's. In response to that, Morroc and I were assigned as spies on Byss to find out as much information as possible on the Dark Jedi's. We were given whatever materials we needed and were to leave in two days.
In those two days, Morroc trained with a teacher to increase his Jedi power and also did a littleMalco Faf repulsorlift flying. I fixed up my ship, then took my buddies to our regular bar. As I left the bar, a man with hairy eyes bumped into me and I kindly excused him. Once I got home, I noticed my wallet was gone. I went back in the afternoon the next day and inquired my bartender buddy about the hairy-eyed guy. Nothing. When I left, I saw a guy that looked like my offender down the street. I walked quickly after him and he ducked into a building. As I looked in the building, he attacked me with a knife. I shot him with my blaster and eventually chased him away.
When it was time to leave, I met up with Morroc and General Falloc at the station and were given a bunch of weapons and a 2-1B droid and an L-3PO droid that Morroc called Chico, due to the Hispanic sound of the droid's model. We then dressed in robes and were to pose as a Dark Jedi and his servant.
When we arrived at Byss, they bought it. We were Klifton Feldo' Ran, Dark Jedi in training and Rabkca Ralp, his servant. I landed my ship and we were taken to a welcoming class. Well, L-3PO and I were taken to a small room to wait and "Klifton" was taken to the class. When that was over, we went to our room. Apparently Emperor Palpatine has returned as a young kid, just as powerful as he was before he was killed.
Klifton went to sleep and L-3PO and I separately went exploring. I found a computer room and on a data pad, I stored a list of names of Dark Jedi's. Luke Skywalker was on that list. However I was caught and thrown in jail.
When a guy came to give me my food, I ate it, then forced myself to regurgitate it. He then came inside to clean it up and I knocked him unconscious, took his ID card, blaster, credit stick, and data pad, then left. I snuck down the hallways and went into a room where droids were being fixed up. I got a mouse and wandered the hallways.
(End of Game Play Two)

I eventually got caught again and was knocked out by storm troopers. When I awoke, I was being dragged by troopers. I eventually escaped and ran away down the hall. I no longer had my mouse, but I had my data pad. I took twists and turns and used elevators until I had no idea where I was. While in the basement, I found another computer room with a man working on inventory. I knocked him unconscious, took his gun, and tied him up while getting information on vehicles and placing it in a data pad. When the officer awoke, I forced him to take me to the city. Upon reaching the city, he took a very sharp turn and threw me from the speeder.
I went into a thrift shop and bought a crappy little Dash Rendar doll and saw in the back of the store where the guy sold weapons. I bought a blaster carbine and, I suppose, became a "friend" of the salesman.
As I walked down the alley behind the store, I saw two storm troopers raping a woman, so I shot one of the storm troopers in the head. Then I shot the other one.
The woman's name was Mariana. She hated the Empire. She and 15,000 other residents of the city, living in the ghetto, had formed an organization to rebel against the Empire. They elected me to lead the group in an uprising the next day during an execution that was to take place. They said it was a Dark Jedi who wasn't so dark and one of his friends. I feared the worst, but hoped the best. They could have discovered Morroc and planned to kill him.
But I led the people in searching for materials to use for armor, and stole some weapons from my store owner friend. Oh, and that crappy Dash Rendar doll? I gave that to Mariana's two kids to play with.
When the moment arrived, I had 3,000 people stationed among the crowd, 2,000 people stationedTosk others stationed in alleys of the city. Most of them were on foot, some outside the courtyard, 5 people as lookouts on roofs, and 9,600 rode giant armless lizards called Tosks, and some were in speeders. As the storm troopers, Dark Jedi's, prisoners, and the Emperor came out into the courtyard, our signal was given and the battle began. Total chaos and confusion was wrought upon the crowd. Storm troopers were killed. Dark Jedi's were killed. I noticed the prisoners were, as I feared, Morroc and...Gen!?
An explosion from the left collapsed the viewing grandstands. An AT-AT entered the courtyardAT-AT from the building. Gen fell unconscious and the AT-AT collapsed. I got on a jetpack and headed toward them. An explosion from the right collapsed another viewing grandstand. As I reached Morroc and Gen, storm troopers were setting up laser guns on repulsorlift vehicles and shooting my few thousand people left, who were now fending off AT-ST's and hundreds--no--thousands of storm troopers. Morroc and I shot some storm troopers and stole their repulsorlift and some weapons. We flew off to the right and were hit by another laser, so we got off and fought over whether we should go back to the city or go to the ship (We'd have to go inside). I won the argument and we went inside.
(End of Game Play Three)

StormtroopersWe walked around a little bit and I led the way; Morroc carried Gen. As we wandered, we ran into some storm troopers. I was packin' by now. I had two blaster pistols, a blaster carbine, and a storm trooper rifle. I shot at the troopers while Morroc took Gen and ducked into a room. It was a locker room and in the back was a shower room. The troopers threw a gas bomb in the room and Morroc threw Gen into a locker and jumped into another one himself. I went to turn on all of the showers to create steam to leave breathable air in the room. Then I got Morroc and Gen and jumped into a shower drain.
Morroc led the way, dragging Gen behind him, and I watched our rear, just in case the storm troopers came after us. We came to an unexpected drop in the tunnel and Morroc and Gen fell. I carefully slid down after them.
We eventually flew out of a spout twenty feet above a huge pool of water. Water! I had a little fun swimming and Morroc rested and recovered from the gas. Gen was still out of it. As I stood guard over my friends, I heard a noise down the dark end of the tunnel to the left. I went closer to check it out and saw a shadow of a large creature. The bats that were on the ceiling flew away and I went toSewer Creature warn Morroc. The creature soon emerged seven feet above the water and it wasn't friendly. I shot at it several times and it hit me with its spike lined tentacles. It also hit Morroc and when he shot at it, the creature got really mad and turned attention away from me. I shot it four times in the head, blowing away an eye and wounding its blowhole. It writhed in pain and swam away.
We rested for a while, then moved out to the right. I swam, holding Gen's head above the water and Morroc walked along the narrow ledge on the right. As the water sped up, I fought the current and Morroc kept going to find out what it was.
The tunnel divided into four separate tunnels and the narrow ledges widened. There were two doors down there; one on the left and one on the right. I took Gen and went to the left while Morroc went to the right. I left Gen in the doorway and explored the three rooms. All they were were old quarters for maintenance workers and a shower room. Then there was a ladder at then end of the small hallway. I climbed that and got to a room with a maintenance worker in it. He left, probably to try to turn me in, and I followed him. He ran down the hall and I chased him and tackled him...right at the intersection of another hallway with two officers drawing their blasters. I took one of them down, but the other one knocked me unconscious with a lucky shot.
When I woke up, I was in a dark room with Morroc dressed as a maintenance worker. He saved my butt. He was trying to get information on a computer. Ha! He doesn't know crap about computers. Now, me, on the other hand...I rock! After I became more alert, I argued with Morroc on where Gen was and whether or not to go to my ship. He went to go through one of those tunnels in the sewer and I put a map of the building on a datapad and went to find my ship.
I found an elevator around the corner and created a distraction on a sub-basement with a roomful of machinery going wild. I went to the docking bay to get my ship and met two storm troopers guarding the door to my ship's spot. I used a fake ID card I got from one of the officers and one of the troopers grabbed my arm. So I punched him.

(End of Game Play Four)

Then I broke free of his hold and shot him and the other one, who was getting restraining braces. That's when I opened the door and was confronted with six other troopers.
Star DestroyerAfter some generous firing, I took care of all of them and got on my ship. I lost my trusty blaster carbine though. No biggie. It had served me well and I didn't really need it much anymore. I started up my ship and more storm troopers came in. That's when I took off and hauled it out of the atmosphere. But I ran into a little problem. Six star destroyers, two close TIE fighters, and the Eclipse, the Super Star Destroyer that was twice the size of the Executor and had a mini-Death Star laser on the front of it.
I maneuvered out of that little predicament and went into hyperspace...arriving at what looked to be a black hole. A star was caught in the pull of its gravity and a matter stream led from the fading star to the hole. I tried to set a different hyperspace course and punch it out of there, but when I came out of hyperspace, I hadn't moved. Then I tried my engines. I slowly pulled away, but they heated up really fast. So I decided to quit that. I tried several tricks to get out of the gravity pull, but nothing worked.
Then I saw another ship. It looked just like mine. Then I got a communications signal. "Tssscchhh mekkoud Osprey nagggrudn alfffngggerrrnd matter stream mffsss grnnfllll don't dffflllnnnn flleeeeepff stream." I decided to stay away from the matter stream.
However, I couldn't avoid it. I eventually got stuck in it. Then I saw where the repeating signal was coming from. The ship in front of me stuck in the matter stream. I told it to identify itself. It was the Osprey. Me in the future. Another ship entered the system. Four of me! I sent a message to the other ships saying to stay away from the matter stream. But I knew what would happen.
Communications with the Osprey in front of me was lost and I dare not actually steer my ship. Otherwise the gases surrounding me would ignite. I got a Morse code message from the future Osprey saying "Explosion". I didn't see any explosion. Or...did he want an explosion? I told him "Power to shields" and powered up my shields. But he just sent back a message saying "Ready engines". Ready engines!? Boom!
When I woke up, I was drifting in space, nowhere near any black hole. I realized that with the ship exploding in front of me, matter was added to the black hole, reducing the density, allowing me to pass through it. It wasn't really a black hole; more of a worm hole.
I did a little astrogation and found I was near the New Republic planet of Yooper. I went there to fix up my ship and restock my consumables. But when I landed, there was no one there. Some tumbleweed rolled down the street. Seriously. So I just fixed my ship and left. There was enough food left for my nine-day trip back to Yavin IV. But as I left the atmosphere, a laser beam flew by me. Then another just barely hit me. Needless to say, I punched it.
When I got back to Yavin IV, I filled General Falloc in on what I had done and found out Morroc had arrived a few days ago. So I went to talk to him. He told me he made it out of the sewer and wound up in the city. He got Gen to a hospital, where he passed away. Then Morroc bought a ship and got caught. Then he stole one and flew that to Yavin IV. He is now wanted for several murders he didn't commit, treason, and conspiracy against the Empire. He'd have several bounty hunters after him so he decided to go to a remote planet to live in secrecy for a while. He had no hard feelings about me going to my ship and going home.
I asked how Gen got to Byss and he told me that the woman whom we thought killed him only captured him. Her name was Larsa Ponadin and Gen trained her in the ways of the Force, but she fell to the dark side. Apparently she helped train the Dark Jedi and was after Gen because he was a Jedi.
After he explained his "adventure" I explained mine. When I finished, we said a friendly good-bye and I saluted him, saying, "Good luck, Jedi," then left. I had to get home to get stuff organized. I was assigned to be on a Mon Cal Cruiser in two days, so I'd have to get my rest and enjoy my time off.
